For several years we would take a weekend and visit antique malls in central Alabama to shop and enjoy the memories associated with the hundreds of items you would see. We often wondered why Alexander City didn't have a similar store. With the loss of a job in 2001 we started exploring the opportunity to open an antique/flea mall in Alexander City.
We would still visit local antique stores not only in central Alabama but also Georgia, Tennessee and Mississippi. We didn't visit just to shop and look but also to study their setup and talk with the owners about running an antique/flea mall. Armed with a wealth of information on how to setup and run an antique/flea mall we decided to take the next step and look for possible locations around Alexander City.
After studying several locations, we decided the best location would be the Alex City Shopping Center. Now we had to decide on a possible name for our business and this was probably the hardest decision to reach. After much debate we finally decided to name our new business Longleaf Antique and Flea Mall, Inc.

Services
1.) Initial contract will be for minimum of three (3) months, after that it self renews month to month unless otherwise agreed upon.
10. Vendor sales are totaled at the end of each month and checks are ready by the 5th business day following the end of the month.
12. Vendor is required to maintain a proper vendor's license from the City of Alexander City.
If you fail to maintain the license, Longleaf Antique and Flea Mall Inc. may at its discretion pay to the City of Alexander City any monies due for said license and deduct any monies paid on your behalf from your sales proceeds.
