Way back in 1983, RIAM owners Rae and Scott Davis met and went antique shopping on their first date. Their new experience together became a mutual obsession that continues to this day. It didn't take long until the couple started selling antiques to "support their habit".
Having sold antiques at over a dozen antique malls and shopping scores more over the years, the duo came to understand what made antiques malls good (and bad) and they eventually set out to create the best mall of its kind. Finally in 2007, they purchased the perfect building, conveniently located right on I-95 in Rhode Island at the Massachusetts border, and they did extensive modifications to make it the antiques "Mecca" it is today.
They then set strict standards to assure the best mix of dealers and product offerings. Not too flea-markety. Today, RIAM sets the standard for antiques malls throughout New England and beyond, but we're not resting on our laurels.
