At Renaissance Watch Repair, we are dedicated to the repair and restoration of vintage and antique pocketwatches. We specialize in the repair of American pocket watches, but we take great pride in bringing any high-quality vintage mechanical (wind-up) watch back to life! With each antique watch we repair, the goal of our expert watchmakers remains the same: To return your vintage watch to its best possible condition.

We want your watch to look and work like new, and we fully guarantee our work. We are located in Bellevue, Washington (near Seattle) but we're as close as your mailbox! We conduct business through the Internet and U.S. Mail, and we have a long list of satisfied customers throughout the United States. We are members in good standing of the Washington Watchmakers-Clockmakers Association and the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors (NAWCC).

Our company-founder and head watchmaker has been an elected officer of the Washington Watchmakers Association, was a founding Board member of the Norwest School of Horology, and has served as a nationally-elected Director of the American Watchmakers-Clockmakers Institute.
Services
At Renaissance Watch Repair, we understand that every watch that comes into our shop has special meaning to its owner, and with each watch we repair our goal remains the same: To return your vintage watch to the best possible condition.
We want your watch to work like new, if possible, and our work is fully guaranteed.
We love bringing a beautiful old watch back to life, and take great pride in restoring your family heirloom to working condition.
We see many vintage pocket watches that are running, but have been neglected: drying out in a drawer or safe-deposit box for decades, accumulating dust and dirt which can grind away at the delicate jeweled mechanism of the watch.
You will be given an itemized estimate of all work to be performed on your watch and all repair costs before any work is done.
We will use only time-tested watchmaker's tools and techniques in the repair of your watch.
If our repair fails within one (1) year, and you return the watch to us, we will correct the problem at no charge or refund your money.*.
We fully guarantee our work, but we are not responsible for failures unrelated to our original repair, or damage done by someone else working on (or tinkering with) the watch.
If you find your watch on the list below there's a good chance that it is a watch we can restore or repair.
This is by no means an all-inclusive list.
We specialize in the repair and restoration of vintage American pocket watches, but we will consider for restoration almost any mechanical (non-battery) pocket watch or wristwatch with a minimum of seven jewels.
Please contact us if you have any questions about whether we can repair your vintage watch.
We do not repair modern Rolex watches, or the watches of other manufacturers who restrict the distribution of spare parts.
It is a well-established fact that mechanical watches require periodic service in order to keep them in proper operating condition.
The cost of this periodic service is often overlooked when purchasing a high-end watch, yet it is a major part of the long-term cost of ownership.
Unfortunately, many consumers find out too late that they have little or no choice about ongoing service for their watch, and must pay whatever price the manufacturer demands.
Manufacturers with a monopoly on repair have no incentive to keep prices in check, and frequently quote exorbitant rates or unnecessary extra services for what should be routine maintenance.
We are a well-established watch buyer specializing in vintage and antique mechanical watches, and we are always buying high-grade vintage and antique watches for our inventory.
We purchase both pocketwatches and higher-grade wrist watches, but our specialty is American pocket watches.
Whether you have a single timepiece or an entire collection to sell, our watch buyer will provide you with an honest, up-to-date market evaluation, and we will pay best possible price for your vintage timepieces.
We pay a premium price for railroad pocket watches, unique or unusual watches, pocket watches with up-down indicators, chronographs, repeaters, "fancy" or railroad dials and any vintage watch in exceptional or "mint" condition.
