Schulman Auction was founded in 2006 by David Schulman, a licensed auctioneer in Missouri and Kansas.
He is a Kansas City native and a 2002 graduate of the Missouri Auction School with an extensive history of helping individuals and businesses through some of the most difficult transitions.
In 2013, after a successful live gallery auction featuring only ham radio equipment, David decided to test the waters in the online world with ham radio gear and antique radios.
From that point on, and 8 years later, Schulman Auction has grown into one of the only online auctioneers specializing in only this type of equipment along with vintage audio.

All packing / shipping will be handled by The UPS Store 2923, 5400 Johnson Dr., Mission, KS 66205, where they have learned to properly pack and ship the various types of equipment we sell as a result of handling thousands of items from our auctions over the past 6 years.

When possible, we do our best to test the equipment we sell so that you will know exactly what you are bidding on.
That being said, we perform basic tests such as overall power consumption, receiver sensitivity, transmitter power output, etc. Depending on what it is we're selling, other tests might be warranted.
If there is a certain type of test you'd like performed on a particular lot, just let us know and we'll do our best to take care of you.
Please note that we do not usually go through every single function on a particular piece of gear (in some cases, that would take a considerable amount of time) but rather the functions that will tell us (and you) whether or not the piece of equipment your interested in, is in basic working order.
That being said, we perform basic tests such as overall power consumption, receiver sensitivity, transmitter power output, etc. Depending on what it is we're selling, other tests might be warranted.

Most all items are tested with results posted in the auction listing, so you know exactly what you are purchasing.
Bidding is similar to eBay except for our "soft close" feature which automatically extends the time remaining on the lot for 3 minutes, if there is a bid placed in the last 3 minutes of an item's ending time.
