In 1992, after many years as a dealer in the antiques and collectibles business, Lorrie Semler launched Semler Appraisals.
When formal courses in appraisal theory and practice were offered in Dallas by the International Society of Appraisers in 1993, Lorrie took the classes and passed the rigorous tests, then began appraising.
After many inquiries from the public about estate (tag) sales, Ms. Semler added liquidations to the list of services offered.
