The French Antique Shop, Inc. remains a family business.
Marie and Marcel Granet opened their first shop in Paris when they married in 1927.
They came to the United States before the outbreak of the Second World War in 1939 and were planning to re-establish their shop in Houston Texas.
Nicole's incredible knowledge and experience within the antique world began at a very early age, when she would assist her mother and father in the family business.
As a second-generation owner, Nicole was educated at Newcombe University, and after become one of the driving forces that has helped shape the French Antique Shop.
Nicole's passion for antiques grew over the years and today she has become a leading authority within the industry.
Although Nicole's is very knowledgeable of European antiques, especially French 17th century furniture, she has a particular interest in fine 18th and 19th century porcelains.
If leaving Airport start out going Northeast on Terminal towards Parking/Rental Car Area.
Turn left onto Parking/Rental Car area which becomes Terminal.
Stay straight to go onto Airport Exit.
Turn left onto Airline Highway (US-61).
Turn left onto Williams Boulevard and then take I-10 East heading to New Orleans.
Take I-10 to Exit 235 (Orleans Avenue/Vieux Carre).
Merge and then turn left onto Orleans Avenue.
Orleans Avenue then becomes Basin Street.
Turn left onto Conti Street to South Peters Street.
