Mechantiques.com is the country's largest dealer in mechanical musical instruments. We sell all forms of mechanical musical instruments such as disc or cylinder type music boxes, musical clocks, coin operated pianos (often called nickelodeons or orchestrions), band organs, carousel organs, monkey organs, phonographs with horns, automata, mechanical singing birds, organettes, etc. - anything in antique mechanical music.

We also handle other particularly interesting and early mechanical items such as pre-1895 electric fans, pre-1940 slot machines, cast iron vending machines, Wurlitzer jukeboxes from the 1940's, etc. Marty Roenigk, Proprietor of Mechantiques, in front of the fabulous Seeburg H from Walt Disney World, now on permanent display in the lobby of the Roenigk's historic Crescent Hotel & Spa in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

PRICES & PAYMENT: We carry a large stock, and sometimes things hang around longer than we would like or we simply are looking to make some room so we reduce prices - we typically make a notation when a price has been reduced, and these items can represent real bargains, so check for them.
Services
Our main business is antique mechanical musical instruments.
We sort of stumbled on this collection of fine antique Vienna clocks.
We are prepared to sell this entire collection of approximately 1650 antique clocks plus lots of mechanisms for a price in the $1,000,000 range.
We will also pay a commission if someone brings us a buyer for the entire antique wall clock collection.
We recently purchased the 24,000 square foot antique shop of long time Dallas antique dealer Albert Copeland.
NSK-1 (46) Painted Case Regina Dragonfront Style 27 Disc Automatic Changer Here is a super opportunity for someone who is either interested in something different or wants to do a little cosmetic work.
This is a top of the line Regina automatic changer the largest (27 disc) size, carved dragons on the upper doors (no gallery, but this model never had one), piano style back, the later lever lift mechanism, and in the much scarcer home model with the solid wood panel in the bottom rather than glass.
This is a really neat bell box, six bells with very colorful painted or enameled butterfly strikers and flowers on top of the beautifully embossed bells.
11 cylinder, eight tune.
This music box was restored by the Musical Museum in Maine some time ago but now has a problem of some sort with the spring or winding arrangement - a problem we expect to get fixed.
No broken or repaired teeth.
Decal decorations.
Price dependent on cost of repair.
ANC-128S (81) Mermod Freres 14 z Cylinder Box with Chinamen Striking Bells and Organ!
This is probably the prettiest of all the military band organs for all around good looks.
We owned this organ once before and have just repurchased it from the family of the fellow who had bought it from us and we are really delighted to have it back in stock.
It is without doubt about the prettiest of all the military band organs.
Lots of decorative woodwork, and really dressed up by red and gold paint.
Significantly larger than the Wurlitzer style 125, these are also quite a bit scarcer.
Older restoration.
This wonderful, highly illustrated, long out of print paperback book is exceptionally scarce.
This is the first we have had in years.
It is 180 pages packed with a guide for restoration and maintenance and lots of historical data and photos.
A "must have" (but impossible to find) for every owner of these, among the most interesting of all mechanical musical instruments.
Very good condition.
Normally we would sell this for $400, and we have a waiting list of several people who want a copy.
